The Porto Polytechnic (P.PORTO) is the largest and the most dynamic Polytechnic in the country, occupying the first position in the ranking of the Polytechnic. In conjunction with major universities, P.PORTO is placed in the upper reaches of the ranking of National Higher Education. Its mission is to be the leader of Polytechnic subsystem in Portugal, taking its social responsibility in the presence of the community and society, in an international frame of reference, demanding for the excellence. It includes eight schools, which are the link between the three Campuses, 30 research centers, more than 18,700 students, 59 undergraduate degrees and 72 masters' degrees and cover different areas: Engineering, Accounting and Administration; Education; Music and Performing Arts; Media Arts and Design; Hospitality and Tourism; Management and Technology, Health Sciences.

She has a graduation, master's, and PhD in Psychology.
She teaches undergraduate and master courses in restaurant management, tourism, and hospitality.
President of the Pedagogical Council (2019 - 2023).
Currently a member of the Scientific Council at ESHT/P.PORTO.
Former head of the Communication Office at ESHT/P.PORTO.
Former member of the Unit of eLearning and Pedagogical Innovation of P.PORTO (EIPP/P.PORTO).
As a researcher, she is the principal researcher at CEOS.PP – Centre of organizational and social studies.
Research collaborator at CiTUR – Centre for Tourism Research, Development, and Innovation.
Her research interests include social sustainability, human resources management, leadership, communication, hard and soft skills, research methodologies, and customer behavior applied to tourism and hospitality.
Former member of the organization and scientific committee of several national and international academic seminars and conferences.
Currently, she coordinates the Erasmus project HOSP-ECO.
