Halkidiki Chamber was founded in 1991 in Polygyros, the capital of Halkidiki, by Presidential Decree.

Halkidiki Chamber consists of four sectors:

the Manufacturing Sector • the Services Sector • the Commercial Sector • the Tourism Sector

Halkidiki Chamber is a Legal Entity of Public Law with more than 12.000 active members.

It is managed by an elected 21-member Board, which in turn, elects it’s 7-member Administrative Committee.

Halkidiki Chamber is an Advisory and Consulting Organization of the State, aiming always to local economic development and National Economy growth. It’s main objective is the protection and development of commerce, industry and all the professions, that contribute to economic development, through information, education, protection and provision of development opportunities.

Halkidiki Chamber’s operations intent to creating a business friendly environment that will lead to innovation, promotion of new technologies, implementation of new management models and everything that results to a sustainable development and growth.The role of the Chamber as an Institution contains a number of services that are compulsory.

Though, part of its role integrates all the actions that reflect the vision and the decision-making of every individual Administrative Committee. Some of them are:

• Exploring and capitalizing opportunities from the National economy on behalf of its members.

• Public intervention, protection, co-operation, research, data.

• Consulting services for businesses and Cooperation Agreements.

• Participation in local and international fairs, either as an Institution or through its members, organization of business missions & B2B networking.

• Education, seminars and conferences.

• Business deals though Embassies and Consulates.

• Participation in EU Programs.

• Social Responsibility
