AITR - Associazione Italiana Turismo Responsabile

AITR has been working for the a ermation and di usion of the culture, principles and practices of sustainable and responsible tourism since 1998. It fosters positive interaction between local communities, travelers and tour operators. It supports the development of its members.

AITR brings together travel organizers, environmental organizations, NGOs, cultural associations, cooperatives, hospitality operators, and service businesses. The diverse nature of the membership has stimulated an articulate organizational structure and internal activities with working tables, commissions, individual and group responsibilities. A heterogeneous composition that is now increasingly accentuated, resulting in animated and vital reflections and a source of sharing and plurality of vision.
