Els objectius del projecte són permetre interaccions, intercanvis i convergència ascendent entre les institucions de formació professional de tots els nivells (ISCED 3-8) i els representants de la indústria, amb l'objectiu d'integrar pràctiques verdes i digitals al currículum de gestió hotelera i ajudar els estudiants, professionals i formadors a millorar i actualitzar les seves competències. S'han identificat dues necessitats específiques en el sector de la gestió hotelera i el turisme en general, que es pretenen abordar:

El projecte "Vocational Excellence, Policy and Enterprise United for Hospitality Management Skills Adapted on Environmental Footprint Methods (GreenHost)" és un projecte finançat pel programa Erasmus+ CoVe de la Unió Europea (UE), que reuneix un conjunt de 19 socis de 7 països.

Els objectius del projecte són generar interaccions i intercanvis entre institucions de formació professional de tots els nivells (CINE 3-8) i representants de la indústria, amb la finalitat d'integrar pràctiques verdes i digitals en el currículum educatiu de gestió hotelera i ajudar a estudiants, professionals i formadors a millorar i actualitzar les seves competències.

S'han identificat dues necessitats específiques en el sector de la gestió hotelera i el turisme en general, que el projecte busca abordar:

​

a) escassetat de personal qualificat;

b) necessitat de ser més ecològics i sostenibles.

Programmi

ACTIVITATS DEL PROJECTE

El projecte es desenvoluparà en diferents fases:

  1. Una etapa inicial per a la detecció de necessitats i bones pràctiques en col·laboració amb els socis dels diferents països.
     

  2. Una fase de desenvolupament de material per a la formació, actualització i reciclatge d'estudiants i professionals del sector.
     

  3. Organització de visites d'estudi i pràctiques professionals per oferir experiències in situ i d'intercanvi.

Main objectives

Contribute to attracting more young people to the hospitality/tourism sectors, and thus producing new workforce that is VET recognized, skilled and competent for the 21st century labour needs, trained through work-based training and apprenticeships in direct liaison with the industry.

Create an innovative curriculum both for learners and trainers in the spirit of VET excellence, that will contribute to the development in the hospitality/tourism sectors of greener, more circular and sustainable economic models, as well as more ethical and concentrated on more socially inclusive values.

Establish a Green Entrepreneurship policy reform pathway for incorporating sustainability concerns within new educational planning, while also promoting entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial skills and competences among the workforce, within educational institutions and after graduation as part of lifelong learning.

Main deliverables

Online Transnational Cooperation Platform, where any stakeholder can look for apprenticeships, training opportunities and providers of such opportunities.

Mobility opportunities for learners, and training materials for teachers, trainers, students and graduates.

Textbook for Teaching Sustainability in the Tourism and Hospitality Industries and policy reports on skills needs and reforms in the tourism/hospitality sectors.
